Hornby Volleyball Club - Sumner Beach Volleyball

Social Beach Volleyball in Canterbury is played at Sumner Beach, in Christchurch.

The competition is organised by the Hornby Volleyball Club and the Canterbury Volleyball Association (CVA), in association with
92.1 MORE FM and The Marine Bar & Backpackers.

The draws can be found on the CVA website. Duration of the competition is 8 weeks from 6.00pm - 8.00pm with two games guaranteed each night. You can download the latest entry form and information from the links on the right.

Cancellations will be broadcast on 92.1 MORE FM around 5pm or please ring them on (03) 340 9292. Cancellations are usually due to excessive wind and a decision is made by 5.00 pm depending on beach conditions.

There is a $30 and $20 Bar Tab Voucher kindly donated by the Marine to be won each week by lucky draw. Teams must be in the bar at the time of the draw to win and only teams who have fully paid their entry fee are eligible.
